Isn’t it always good to earn a little extra cash?

Especially this time of year with higher heat bills and holiday shopping a few extra dollars always comes in handy!

It’s actually pretty easy to do, you just find a product you can sign up for as an affiliate and promote it to your subscriber list or post a banner on your website or blog.

Problems Tracking Time?

If you know me very well you’ll know I go a hundred directions at once at about 100 mph.
Of course I’m old enough to be before the “ADD” classifications back when I was in school but in talking with some of my friends I definitely fit the bill.

One of the biggest problems I have had is keeping track of what I’m doing I’ve tried many things and resources.

The one I’m trying right now seems to be pretty good I hope I can stick with it. it is the TimeLogger application from the Itunes App store. You can read about it by clicking here. That is not an affiliate link just a recommendation. What I like about this one is it runs on my iPhone and I can track time where ever I am and then send the info back to the office for invoicing. It has some really cool features.

Blog Overhaul

It was time for a much needed blog overhaul the old design just wasn’t working in many ways.
in watching stats on many things it just wasn’t doing the job.

SO, out with the old and in with the new. I’m trying a new highly customizable theme for better SEO and design. I’ve simplified and added some things to help with flow. I Borrowed an element from my friend Michel Fortin’s Blog. I loved how he had the recent 5 posts after each article post as well as the signature box. I still have some tweaks to go but it is much better I feell and I’ve already gotten some good feedback.

I’d love to hear your comments if you’d like to post them. And as I’ve always said I take good and bad comments, cause if I don’t know it’s broke I can’t fix it.

eMail Mistake?

Ok maybe this one isn’t a mistake but a missed opportunity!

If you’ve ever done any training what so ever or maybe provide examples of how to do something to your friends or coaching group maybe you’ve made this mistake.

Lets say you’re explaining how to do something with an email address, like setting up a mail account or filling out a form on your membership group or something and you use an email address as an example.

and obviously you don’t want to use your own email address so you make up one! THAT is the missed opportunity.

Instead of displaying some made up email address or an email address you have no control over create one that forwards to an auto responder.

Personally I use me@that1domain.com I own the domain that1domain.com so I simply created a forwarder in my control panel that points to a subscribe by mail autoresponder. You can do this with ANY autoresponder company and it gives you yet another way to capture a lead and or get a marketing message to a client.

Do You Share My Frustration?
